IAP was established as a co-operative in 1998 and has gradually grown by a process of acquisition and development to the business that was incorporated in 2005.
We have offices in Chipping Sodbury, a delightful town on the edge of the Cotswolds, where there are plenty of coffee shops ideal for business meetings!
The company was formed because we wanted to do the job differently.
After around 40 years combined experience working for the local authority, the civil service and assorted corporations we realised that we could offer something they didn’t – accountability. A small business must be better to survive – our clients deal with individuals who have to take responsibility for their decisions and that leads us to deliver both faster and better service. It also allows us to focus on our passions – delivering good service and getting the job done. In the immortal words of Nike, “Just do it!”
The business is a co-operative and we strongly support everyone being involved in both decision making and awareness of company performance. This means that we have a corporate responsibility, both for employees and the wider world. With the world in mind, we have invested in technology to reduce our need to travel & solar panels to reduce our power consumption. On a spring day, we benefit from the clear sky & do our best to keep it that way.
It is possible for a business to be dynamic, technology driven and also have all the warmth & feel good niceness of a co-operative.
